"Governor Palin is a tough executive who has demonstrated during her time in office that she is ready to be president."
You have got to be kidding, right?? McCain spouts over and over that Barak Obama is not qualified, but a first term Gov. of Alaska is ready to lead this country???? What happens if McCain is unable to serve out his term? This is a distinct possibility, considering he is the oldest presidential candidate. I would have considered voting for McCain, as I am a former Republican, had McCain chose Mitt Romney or Ron Paul for his running mate.
While Gov. Sarah Palin does have executive experience, which is something that no one else in the 2008 presidential race has, being a one term governor of a state that has a population of only 683,478 people certainly does not qualify one to be the President or Vice-President of the United States of America. Heck there are more people living in Columbus, OH than in all of Alaska! I won't even go into how Palin has no experience in Federal government. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarah_Palin

Love ya Gary, but the politics is killing me man...
;)
Phun- I totally agree with you about being killed by politics. Trust me, I would have a similar reaction if Obama and his campaign were to have the audacity to pull a similar move. Political GAMES like this SHOULD NOT be played with the future of the Vice-presidency, someone who could potentially have to assume the presidency.
yeah....I remember when he (Gary) spoke about cycling...time to start a separate political blog dude....just get out and ride man. You were more fun when you were a GOP guy.
:-)
